Fue un cantor y compositor brasile\u00f1o, pionero del rock brasile\u00f1o. Por esa raz\u00f3n es conocido en Brasil como padre del rock and roll brasile\u00f1o.<\/div>\n

Su gusto musical se fue modelando: primero, por la radio, a trav\u00e9s de la cual fue impactado por el \u00e9xito de Luiz Gonzaga, y por los viajes en los que acompa\u00f1aba a su padre (inspector ferroviario), donde o\u00eda en las bodegas los desaf\u00edos entre repentistas, conformando una “ra\u00edz” nordestina que nunca lo abandonar\u00eda.<\/div>\n

En un segundo momento, en el cine, qued\u00f3 subyugado con el talento de Elvis Presley, de quien se vuelve fan, decidiendo su rumbo musical: el Rock’n Roll. Adem\u00e1s, siempre disfrut\u00f3 de los cl\u00e1sicos del rock de los a\u00f1os 50 y 60.<\/div>\n

En 1973, contratado por Philips (actual Universal Music), grab\u00f3 el \u00e1lbum Krig-Ha, Bandolo! con el cual alcanz\u00f3 el \u00e9xito, y estableci\u00f3 una fruct\u00edfera dupla creativa con el hoy mundialmente famoso escritor Paulo Coelho.<\/div>\n

El \u00faltimo \u00e1lbum lanzado en vida fue realizado junto con Marcelo Nova, titulado “A Panela do Diabo” (La Caldera del Diablo), que fue lanzado por Warner Music Brasil dos d\u00edas antes de su muerte.<\/div>\n

Raul Seixas muri\u00f3 el 21 de agosto de 1989, a los 44 a\u00f1os de edad. Su cuerpo fue encontrado a las ocho horas de la ma\u00f1ana, por su empleada de hogar, Dalva. Falleci\u00f3 por un paro card\u00edaco como resultado de su alcoholismo agravado por su diabetes, y por no haber tomado la insulina la noche anterior.<\/div>\n

Ese le caus\u00f3 una pancreatitis aguda fulminante. “A Panela do Diabo” (La Cacerola del Diablo) vendi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 100.000 copias, que lleg\u00f3 a disco de oro p\u00f3stumo. Le fue entregado a su familia y tambi\u00e9n a Marcelo Nova, constituy\u00e9ndose en uno de los discos de mayor \u00e9xito.<\/div>\n

He was a Brazilian singer and composer, a pioneer of Brazilian rock. For that reason he is known in Brazil as the father of Brazilian rock and roll.<\/div>\n

His musical taste was shaped: first, by the radio, through which he was impacted by the success of Luiz Gonzaga, and by the trips in which he accompanied his father (railway inspector), where he heard the challenges in the warehouses. among repentistas, forming a northeastern “root” that would never abandon it.<\/div>\n

Raul Seixas died on August 21, 1989, at the age of 44. His body was found at eight o’clock in the morning, by his housekeeper, Dalva. He passed away from cardiac arrest as a result of his alcoholism compounded by his diabetes, and from not taking his insulin the night before.<\/div>\n
