Catherine Baudet naci\u00f3 en Poissy, cerca de Par\u00eds, hija de un m\u00e9dico (y violinista aficionado). Comenz\u00f3 a tocar el viol\u00edn a los 11 a\u00f1os y entr\u00f3 en el conservatorio de Versalles, saliendo del mismo dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s con una destacada participaci\u00f3n en 1966.<\/div>\n

Lara toc\u00f3 y compuso para cantantes famosos antes de comenzar a cantar como solista. Su primer \u00e1lbum, Ad libitum, fue lanzado en 1972. Desde su \u00e1lbum de 1979 Coup d’feel, sus canciones est\u00e1n m\u00e1s influenciadas por la m\u00fasica rock.<\/div>\n

El \u00e1lbum de 1983 La Rockeuse de Diamant proporcion\u00f3 un gran \u00e9xito con el sencillo “La Rockeuse de diamant”, y una atrevida canci\u00f3n llamada “Autonome”, en la que dice: “[Soy] libre de amar a una mujer o a un hombre”. En 1986 tuvo un gran \u00e9xito con el sencillo “Nuit magique” escrito por Luc Plamondon, su mayor \u00e9xito que le dio fama y le hizo ganar una Victoires de la Musique (Premios Grammy franceses) a la mejor cantante femenina del a\u00f1o. Public\u00f3 su autobiograf\u00eda en 1987, L’Aventuri\u00e8re de l’archet perdu.<\/div>\n

Catherine Baudet was born in Poissy, near Paris, the daughter of a physician (and amateur violinist). He began to play the violin at the age of 11 and entered the Versailles Conservatory, leaving it two years later with an outstanding participation in 1966.<\/div>\n

Lara played and composed for famous singers before beginning to sing as a soloist. His first album, Ad libitum, was released in 1972. Since his 1979 album Coup d’feel, his songs are more influenced by rock music. The 1983 album La Rockeuse de Diamant provided a huge success with the single “La Rockeuse de diamant”, and a daring song called “Autonome”, in which he says: “[I am] free to love a woman or a man” . In 1986 she had a great success with the single “Nuit magique” written by Luc Plamondon, her biggest success that brought her fame and won her a Victoires de la Musique (French Grammy Awards) for the best female singer of the year.
