Jorge Carballo fue un m\u00fasico, compositor y cantautor nicarag\u00fcense, se crio en la ciudad de Ocotal, hijo de un pianista, compositor y m\u00e9dico: Isaac Carvallo. Su madre, la chichigalpina C\u00e1ndida Rosa Rostr\u00e1n lo mand\u00f3 estudiar la secundaria al “Instituto Nacional de Oriente y Mediod\u00eda”. Con solamente doce a\u00f1os, en 1943 compuso sus dos primeras canciones: \u201cSo\u00f1ar\u201d y \u201cConfesi\u00f3n\u201d.<\/div>\n

Durante una presentaci\u00f3n en el cine, en el intermedio de una pel\u00edcula de amor y protesta social fue que se dio cuenta que el arte que mayor impresi\u00f3n causa a la humanidad: la m\u00fasica. Y surgi\u00f3 \u201cLa Juliana\u201d. De hecho, podr\u00eda ser la primera canci\u00f3n de protesta en el universo musical nicarag\u00fcense. Cuando cursaba el primer a\u00f1o de medicina, fue llamado por don Juan Navas, el primero que contaba con un estudio de grabaci\u00f3n.<\/div>\n

Jorge Carballo was a Nicaraguan musician, composer and singer-songwriter. He grew up in the city of Ocotal, the son of a pianist, composer and doctor: Isaac Carvallo. His mother, the Chichigalpina C\u00e1ndida Rosa Rostr\u00e1n sent him to study high school at the “Instituto Nacional de Oriente y Mediod\u00eda”. When he was only twelve years old, in 1943 he composed his first two songs: \u201cSo\u00f1ar\u201d and \u201cConfesi\u00f3n\u201d.<\/div>\n

During a presentation at the cinema, in the middle of a film of love and social protest, he realized that the art that makes the greatest impression on humanity: music. And \u201cLa Juliana\u201d emerged. In fact, it could be the first protest song in the Nicaraguan musical universe. When he was in his first year of medicine, he was called by Don Juan Navas, the first to have a recording studio.<\/div>\n
