Mar\u00eda del Monte Tejado Algaba, conocida art\u00edsticamente como MAR\u00cdA DEL MONTE, es una cantante espa\u00f1ola de sevillanas y de copla, as\u00ed como presentadora de radio y televisi\u00f3n.<\/div>\n

Tras ganar el concurso televisivo Gente joven edit\u00f3 su primer disco. El segundo, titulado C\u00e1ntame sevillanas se convirti\u00f3 en poco tiempo en un \u00e9xito, consigui\u00f3 13 discos de platino, su tema m\u00e1s popular fue C\u00e1ntame, este tema que habla sobre el camino hacia El Roc\u00edo hizo que empezara a ser popular en Espa\u00f1a. Con el paso del tiempo y con varios discos ha conseguido ganarse al p\u00fablico y es llamada “Reina de las sevillanas” por uno de sus discos con ese nombre.<\/div>\n

Adem\u00e1s de su actividad art\u00edstica como cantante de sevillanas y en el mundo de la copla, Mar\u00eda del Monte es presentadora de programas en radio y televisi\u00f3n. En 1993-1994 presenta Vamos juntos de Canal Sur Radio. En 1995 pasa a ser presentadora en televisi\u00f3n, donde trabaja para la tercera cadena en el espacio semanal Qu\u00e9date con la copla. Ha colaborado en los programas Gente joven de TVE en 1982, Los debates de Hermida en Antena 3 Televisi\u00f3n (2000) , y en el Show de Flo en La Sexta. En TVE presenta La canci\u00f3n de mi querer, Esa copla me suena (1998), Especial Feria de Abril. En 2000 ficha por Canal Sur Televisi\u00f3n y presenta C\u00e1ntame (2000), Contigo (hasta la temporada 2002), galas de verano y Nochebuena flamenca (2003), en 2004 presenta el Especial de Nochebuena, un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde trabaja para Forta en Shalakabula. Posteriormente presenta las galas de primavera, as\u00ed como el especial 10 a\u00f1os de Roc\u00edo y el programa especial Roc\u00edo Jurado, un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 en el programa concurso de TVE Mira quien baila en 2005, y presenta su popular magazine diario en Canal Sur Televisi\u00f3n: La tarde con Mar\u00eda.<\/div>\n

Mar\u00eda del Monte Tejado Algaba (Seville, April 26, 1963), artistically known as MAR\u00cdA DEL MONTE, is a Spanish singer of Sevillanas and copla, as well as a radio and television presenter.<\/div>\n

After winning the television contest Gente Joven, he released his first album. The second, entitled C\u00e1ntame sevillanas, became a success in a short time, achieved 13 platinum records, its most popular song was C\u00e1ntame, this song that talks about the road to El Roc\u00edo made it become popular in Spain. With the passage of time and with several albums she has managed to win over the public and is called “Reina de las sevillanas” for one of her albums with that name.<\/div>\n
