Es una cantante puertorrique\u00f1a de merengue y pop latino conocida art\u00edsticamente como Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n. Ha sido ganadora del Premio Grammy en dos ocasiones y cuatro veces ganadora del Grammy Latino, tambi\u00e9n 31 veces ganadora de Premios Lo Nuestro. En 2014 form\u00f3 parte de los jueces del programa Yo soy el artista de Telemundo en Estados Unidos. Durante su carrera, ha vendido m\u00e1s de 5 millones de copias en el mundo.<\/div>\n

Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n es la menor de cuatro hermanos, nacida del v\u00ednculo entre Jos\u00e9 Ta\u00f1\u00f3n y Carmen Gloria Ortiz, sus padres, y sus hermanos Glori, Junior y Marie, familia de modestos recursos financieros, de la localidad de Levittown, Municipio Toa Baja, San Juan, Puerto Rico.<\/div>\n

Con una t\u00edpica voz de mezzosoprano, cuya tesitura est\u00e1 comprendida entre soprano, la voz aguda de mujer, y la de contralto, o voz grave de mujer, luego de tomar clases de baile con Yonito Betancourt, luego de la muerte de este y gracias a sus recomendaciones pronto tuvo la oportunidad de incursionar con grupos de j\u00f3venes artistas y as\u00ed lleg\u00f3 a formar parte de la agrupaci\u00f3n Las nenas de Ringo y Jossie, cosechando unos primeros \u00e9xitos. M\u00e1s adelante llegar\u00eda a formar parte del grupo de Chantelle (junto con Sandra Torres y Daly Font\u00e1nez) constituido por integrantes de sexo femenino exclusivamente.<\/div>\n

Is a Puerto Rican merengue and Latin pop singer known artistically as Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n. She has been a two-time Grammy Award winner and a four-time Latin Grammy winner, also a 31-time Premio Lo Nuestro winner. In 2014 he was part of the judges of the program I am the artist of Telemundo in the United States. During his career, he has sold more than 5 million copies in the world.<\/div>\n
