Sus padres y seis hermanos eran de estatura promedio y Nelson Ned naci\u00f3 con el tama\u00f1o de un beb\u00e9 normal, pero a los seis meses le fue diagnosticada una condici\u00f3n llamada displasia esp\u00f3ndilo-epifisiaria, un tipo de enanismo. La estatura de Nelson alcanz\u00f3 los 1,12 m. A los 5 a\u00f1os sus padres, viendo sus aptitudes para la canci\u00f3n, lo llevaron a las audiciones de la Radio Educadora Laborista, consagr\u00e1ndolo como una peque\u00f1a celebridad para el auditorio.<\/div>\n

Hizo su primera aparici\u00f3n a los 14 a\u00f1os en la Tele Itacolomi, en Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, de su natal Brasil, comenzando as\u00ed su carrera. A los 16 a\u00f1os la mencionada cadena televisiva le ofreci\u00f3 ser el principal conductor en un programa que se llam\u00f3: “Gente, el tama\u00f1o no importa”. Gan\u00f3 el concurso “Un cantante por un mill\u00f3n” y, cuando menos se esperaba, apareci\u00f3 en S\u00e3o Paulo para presentarse en la “Discoteca la Chacrinha”.<\/div>\n

Tras un largo bache personal y profesional, en 1993, Nelson se convirti\u00f3 al cristianismo evang\u00e9lico, y comenz\u00f3 a concentrar su retomada carrera en la m\u00fasica cristiana, componiendo canciones espirituales que expresaban su fe cristiana evang\u00e9lica.5 Public\u00f3 en 1996 su autobiograf\u00eda denominada “El Peque\u00f1o Gigante de la Canci\u00f3n”, que fue editada en primer t\u00e9rmino en portugu\u00e9s. Este libro es una recopilaci\u00f3n de sucesos en la vida de Nelson Ned realizada por Jefferson Magno Costa.<\/div>\n

En 1993, sali\u00f3 el \u00e1lbum “Jes\u00fas Est\u00e1 Vivo” bajo el sello discogr\u00e1fico “Line Records”, que es una discogr\u00e1fica evang\u00e9lica de Brasil. Este CD fue el primero en ser editado tambi\u00e9n en espa\u00f1ol. En 1994, Nelson grab\u00f3 el \u00e1lbum “Jes\u00fas Te Ama”, editado por Warner Capell Brasil, siendo su segundo \u00e1lbum grabado tambi\u00e9n en espa\u00f1ol.<\/div>\n

En 2002, realiz\u00f3 el \u00e1lbum “Jesus \u00e9 Vida”. Este fue su tercer CD traducido al espa\u00f1ol con el t\u00edtulo “Jesucristo es Vida”, este \u00e1lbum cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n especial para la versi\u00f3n en portugu\u00e9s de Luis de Carvalho, ambos grabados y distribuidos por “Bom Pastor” de Brasil.<\/div>\n

En 2004 lanz\u00f3 su \u00faltimo trabajo de m\u00fasica cristiana llamado “Jesus Ressuscitou” bajo el sello “Zekap Gospel” de Brasil, con el cual pr\u00e1cticamente desapareci\u00f3 de los medios art\u00edsticos.<\/div>\n

He was a Brazilian singer-songwriter.<\/p>\n

His parents and six siblings were of average height, and Nelson Ned was born the size of a normal baby, but at six months he was diagnosed with a condition called spondylo-epiphyseal dysplasia, a type of dwarfism. Nelson’s height reached 1.12 m. At the age of 5, his parents, seeing his aptitude for song, took him to the Labor Educator Radio auditions, consecrating him as a small celebrity for the audience.<\/p>\n

He made his first appearance at the age of 14 on Tele Itacolomi, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, in his native Brazil, thus beginning his career. At the age of 16, the aforementioned television network offered him to be the main driver in a program called: “People, size does not matter.” He won the contest “A singer for a million” and, when least expected, he appeared in S\u00e3o Paulo to perform at the “Discoteca la Chacrinha”.<\/p>\n

After a long personal and professional hiatus, in 1993, Nelson converted to evangelical Christianity, and began to focus his resumed career on Christian music, composing spiritual songs that expressed his evangelical Christian faith.5 In 1996 he published his autobiography called “The Little Gigante de la Canci\u00f3n”, which was first published in Portuguese. This book is a compilation of events in the life of Nelson Ned by Jefferson Magno Costa.<\/p>\n

In 1993, the album “Jesus Is Alive” came out under the record label “Line Records”, which is an evangelical record label in Brazil. This CD was the first to be released also in Spanish. In 1994, Nelson recorded the album “Jes\u00fas Te Ama”, edited by Warner Capell Brasil, being his second album also recorded in Spanish.<\/p>\n

In 2002, he released the album “Jesus \u00e9 Vida”. This was his third CD translated into Spanish with the title “Jesucristo es Vida”, this album had the special participation of the Portuguese version by Luis de Carvalho, both recorded and distributed by “Bom Pastor” from Brazil.<\/p>\n

In 2004 he released his latest work of Christian music called “Jesus Ressuscitou” under the label “Zekap Gospel” from Brazil, with which he practically disappeared from artistic circles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
