Luis Mar\u00eda Aguilera Picca (Ciudad de Buenos Aires, 24 de febrero de 1936-Madrid, 10 de octubre de 2009) nacido como Luis Mar\u00eda Aguilera, conocido por su nombre art\u00edstico Luis Aguil\u00e9, fue un cantautor argentino nacionalizado espa\u00f1ol de m\u00fasica rom\u00e1ntica, que fue uno de los primeros m\u00fasicos en cantar rock en espa\u00f1ol y vivi\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n en Espa\u00f1a. Activo desde los a\u00f1os 1950, se hizo famoso en toda Latinoam\u00e9rica y en Espa\u00f1a.<\/div>\n

Grab\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 800 canciones, la mitad de ellas de su autor\u00eda, y algunas se han convertido en est\u00e1ndares de la m\u00fasica popular en castellano, como \u00abCuando sal\u00ed de Cuba\u00bb, quiz\u00e1 su canci\u00f3n m\u00e1s conocida, grabada por muchos otros artistas. Tambi\u00e9n compuso canciones para ni\u00f1os y public\u00f3 varios libros. Luis Mar\u00eda Aguilera naci\u00f3 el 24 de febrero de 1936 en Buenos Aires, capital de Argentina. En su ciudad natal combin\u00f3 sus primeras actuaciones como cantante, en reuniones y fiestas familiares, con su trabajo en la Casa Central del Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. En 1951, a los quince a\u00f1os, consigui\u00f3 su primer contrato, en la Maison Dor\u00e9, lujoso sal\u00f3n de fiestas porte\u00f1o, y empez\u00f3 a trabajar en la radio.<\/div>\n

A los 20 a\u00f1os, en mayo de 1956, se present\u00f3 en el concurso de televisi\u00f3n Music-Hall logrando un enorme \u00e9xito. Poco despu\u00e9s grabar\u00eda su primer disco, con la discogr\u00e1fica Ode\u00f3n, un sencillo con los temas “El preso n\u00famero nueve” de Roberto Cantoral y “Tu recuerdo y yo” de Jos\u00e9 Alfredo Jim\u00e9nez, dos rancheras donde canta acompa\u00f1ado por \u00c1ngel Pocho Gatti y su conjunto. Poco despu\u00e9s, edita su primer LP, Luis Aguil\u00e9, con diez temas (Gig\u00ed, Linda nena, Mujer tejedora, Tiro Liro Liro, Pancho L\u00f3pez, Qu\u00e9 ser\u00e1 ser\u00e1, Luna bonita, Luna Azul y El alegre silbador).<\/div>\n

Luis Mar\u00eda Aguilera Picca (City of Buenos Aires, February 24, 1936-Madrid, October 10, 2009) born Luis Mar\u00eda Aguilera, known by his stage name Luis Aguil\u00e9, was an Argentine nationalized Spanish singer-songwriter of romantic music, who was one of the first musicians to sing rock in Spanish and also lived in Spain. Active since the 1950s, he became famous throughout Latin America and in Spain.<\/p>\n

He recorded more than 800 songs, half of them his own, and some have become standards of popular music in Spanish, such as “When I left Cuba”, perhaps his best-known song, recorded by many other artists. He also composed children’s songs and published several books. Luis Mar\u00eda Aguilera was born on February 24, 1936 in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. In her hometown she combined her first performances as a singer, at family gatherings and parties, with her work at the Central House of the Bank of the Province of Buenos Aires. In 1951, at the age of fifteen, he got his first contract, at the Maison Dor\u00e9, a luxurious Buenos Aires nightclub, and began working on the radio.
