Is an American R&B and soul singer. McDonald played in multiple bands (including Mike and the Majestics, Jerry Jay and the Sheratons, the Reebtoors, and The Guild) in his hometown of Ferguson, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. He was discovered when he was part of a group called Blue and consequently moved to Los Angeles in 1970. He was initially known as an occasional member of Steely Dan, voicing Katy Lied and subsequent albums such as The Royal Scam and Aja.<\/div>\n
