Es un m\u00fasico, compositor y productor discogr\u00e1fico estadounidense, es el bajista y segundo vocalista de la banda de hard rock Guns N’ Roses y guitarrista de Loaded. McKagan empez\u00f3 a tocar la guitarra a los 2 a\u00f1os. En 2011 public\u00f3 su autobiograf\u00eda. En 2014 se reintegr\u00f3 de manera temporal a Guns N’ Roses para la gira sudamericana y en el 2016 regres\u00f3 de manera total a la banda despu\u00e9s de casi 18 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

A la hora de tocar, su preferencia era la guitarra, aunque sab\u00eda tocar la bater\u00eda. Fue un amigo de la infancia, Cliff Burton, quien lo influy\u00f3 a tocar el bajo. A los 19 a\u00f1os, McKagan, ya era adicto a la hero\u00edna, al igual que su novia y su compa\u00f1ero de habitaci\u00f3n en Seattle. M\u00e1s adelante se mud\u00f3 a la ciudad de Los \u00c1ngeles.<\/p>\n

A la edad de 15 a\u00f1os Duff form\u00f3 su primera banda punk llamada “The Vains” en 1979, en donde era bajista y segunda voz. Durante su estancia en la banda, public\u00f3 su primer sencillo “School Jeks” en 1980.\u200b Ese mismo a\u00f1o Duff tambi\u00e9n form\u00f3 otra banda de g\u00e9nero punk llamada “The Living”, en la que era vocalista y guitarrista. Con esta banda avanz\u00f3 como m\u00fasico, incluso lleg\u00f3 a abrirle conciertos a una gran variedad de bandas, incluyendo, H\u00fcsker D\u00fc y D.O.A..<\/p>\n

Is an American musician, songwriter and record producer, is the bassist and second vocalist of the hard rock band Guns N ‘Roses and guitarist of Loaded. McKagan started playing guitar at age 2. In 2011 he published his autobiography. In 2014, he temporarily rejoined Guns N ‘Roses for the South American tour and in 2016 he returned fully to the band after almost 18 years.<\/p>\n

When it came to playing, his preference was the guitar, although he knew how to play the drums. It was a childhood friend, Cliff Burton, who influenced him to play bass. At 19, McKagan was already addicted to heroin, as was his girlfriend and his roommate in Seattle. Later he moved to the city of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

At the age of 15 Duff formed his first punk band called “The Vains” in 1979, where he was bassist and second voice. During his time in the band, he released his first single “School Jeks” in 1980. That same year Duff also formed another punk band called “The Living”, in which he was a vocalist and guitarist. With this band he advanced as a musician, even opening concerts for a wide variety of bands, including H\u00fcsker D\u00fc and D.O.A.<\/p>\n
