El 2003, qued\u00f3 ubicado en el lugar n\u00famero 88 dentro de la Lista de los 100 guitarristas m\u00e1s grandes de todos los tiempos hecha por la revista Rolling Stone.<\/div>\n

Aunque no ten\u00eda el mismo protagonismo que su hermano dentro de la banda, tambi\u00e9n compuso y cant\u00f3 sus propias canciones. Temas notables como “Death of a Clown”, “Susannah’s Still Alive” y “Living on a Thin Line”. Y como guitarrista se destaca su trabajo en el riff caracter\u00edstico de la canci\u00f3n “You Really Got Me”, canci\u00f3n de s\u00f3lo dos acordes que seg\u00fan lo dicho por \u00e9l y por su hermano, se consigui\u00f3 casualmente cuando Dave conect\u00f3 agujas de coser a su amplificador.<\/div>\n

Although he did not have the same role as his brother in the band, he also composed and sang his own songs. Notable tracks like “Death of a Clown”, “Susannah’s Still Alive” and “Living on a Thin Line”. And as a guitarist, his work stands out in the characteristic riff of the song “You Really Got Me”, a song with only two chords that, according to what he and his brother said, was achieved by chance when Dave connected sewing needles to his amplifier.<\/div>\n
