Biografía: FERNANDO SOLER, fue un actor mexicano de cine, radio y televisión; guionista, productor teatral y director cinematográfico perteneciente a la época de oro del cine mexicano y miembro de la Dinastía Soler. Fue una de las grandes glorias del histrionismo en México.

Durante la Revolución mexicana, el matrimonio Díaz Pavía emigró a los Estados Unidos, donde comenzaron una empresa teatral utilizando el talento de sus hijos, «Cuarteto Infantil Soler».

La familia estuvo formada por ocho hijos que nacieron en diferentes Estados de la República Mexicana debido a las constantes giras artísticas que realizaban sus padres.

Fernando formó parte de una dinastía de actores de la Época de Oro del cine mexicano, la familia de actores conocidos como los Hermanos Soler. Sus hermanos menores, Domingo y Andrés, actuaron en el cine de manera notable, en algunos casos con Fernando.

Su hermano Julián, también actor, se dedicó más a la dirección escénica, teniendo una prolífica carrera en este rubro. Su carrera comienza cuando se presentó por primera vez en teatro en 1916, en Los Ángeles, California, con la compañía teatral de sus padres.

Trabajó con la mayoría de los actores del cine mexicano de la época, entre los que se encuentran María Félix, Pedro Infante, Marquita Rivera, Sara García, Joaquín Pardavé, Ninón Sevilla, Andrea Palma, Gloria Marín, Roberto Cañedo, Arturo de Córdova y, por supuesto, con sus hermanos: Andrés, Domingo, Julián, Irene, Gloria, Elvira y Mercedes.

Contrajo nupcias en 1946 con la actriz Sagrario Gómez Seco, conocida con su pseudónimo artístico como Sagra del Río, con quien no tuvo hijos.

Presidió la Academia de Ciencias y Artes Cinematográficas desde 1946 hasta 1950. Honrado con libros y estudios biográficos, el Museo de Cera de la Ciudad de México presenta su figura en el Salón de actores legendarios.

FERNANDO SOLER, He was a Mexican film, radio and television actor; scriptwriter, theater producer and film director belonging to the golden age of Mexican cinema and member of the Soler Dynasty. He was one of the great glories of histrionics in Mexico.

During the Mexican Revolution, the Díaz Pavía couple emigrated to the United States, where they started a theatrical company using the talent of their children, «Cuarteto Infantil Soler».

The family consisted of eight children who were born in different States of the Mexican Republic due to the constant artistic tours that their parents carried out.

Fernando was part of a dynasty of actors from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, the family of actors known as the Soler Brothers. His younger brothers, Domingo and Andrés, acted in the cinema in a remarkable way, in some cases with Fernando.

His brother Julián, also an actor, devoted himself more to stage direction, having a prolific career in this field. His career began when he performed for the first time on stage in 1916, in Los Angeles, California, with his parents’ theater company.

He worked with most of the actors in Mexican cinema of the time, including María Félix, Pedro Infante, Marquita Rivera, Sara García, Joaquín Pardavé, Ninón Sevilla, Andrea Palma, Gloria Marín, Roberto Cañedo, Arturo de Córdova and , of course, with his siblings: Andrés, Domingo, Julián, Irene, Gloria, Elvira and Mercedes.

He married in 1946 with the actress Sagrario Gómez Seco, known by her artistic pseudonym as Sagra del Río, with whom he had no children.
